NYCO’s wollastonite is a leading performance filler for fibre reinforced polymer composites and engineered plastics. Our products are essential ingredients in plastic applications by automotive to aerospace industries.

Our wollastonite’s reinforcing needle-like structure, its low hydroabsorptivity, thermal stability and conductivity, low resin demand and chemical purity make it an ideal additive to polymer formulations. It is used in an array of thermoset, thermoplastic and elastomeric applications including:

NYCO’s suite of chemically surface modified products meets the demand for improved composite properties. Coupling agents like organo silanes and other additives used with our wollastonite improves the interface between the filler/reinforcement and the polymer.
